We are seeking an engineer to maintain our quality management system, including our quality policy, quality manual and level 2 procedures. You will be charged with communicating quality goals to all employees, overseeing incoming, in-process and final inspections, actioning all customer, preventive, internal and supplier corrective action reports. You will also train all employees on the use of operating procedures, work instructions, forms, industry standards, and client statements of work. You will operate our KAIZEN continual improvement program and train internal quality auditors. As our Management Representative, you will conduct management review meetings, internal audit scheduling, and interact with external auditors while managing document control. You must be knowledgeable in ISO-9001 and other related auditing systems, six sigma, value stream and continuous improvement. There will be oversight required in global trade compliance such as import and export regulations and ITAR compliance along with the more routine compliance with customer and vendor terms and conditions. You will want to ensure that customer requirements are communicated throughout the company via SOW’s, CofC’s and so forth. You will interface with customers and vendors on quality issues.
