A customer came to us with two pressure sensors each in a SOT-1693-1 package. They wanted them to be removed from plastic shipping trays and placed on tape & reel. OX3 devised a custom pocket for 44mm carrier tape with a 20mm pitch. We recommended rotating the part within the pocket by 90 degrees to aid in economies of scale by fitting more devices on a reel. The job ran very smoothly and the client was happy.
